Vetic just raised $40 million. How long before the chains reach your street?
Pet clinic chains in India are raising big money to open more clinics. What that means for an independent clinic, and what to do this year.

In June 2026 Vetic, a pet clinic chain based in Gurugram, raised $40 million in a round led by Bessemer Venture Partners. It already runs more than 65 clinics in 11 cities, and it says the money will open more clinics and double its team to 500 vets. In February, Supertails raised $30 million, and it too plans new clinics beyond Bengaluru.
That is about ₹670 crore going into two clinic chains in one year. The money is not for one clinic. It is for hundreds, opening in the same neighbourhoods where independent vets have built their practice over twenty years.
What a funded chain brings to your area
- A bright, new clinic with long opening hours and a 24 hour emergency line.
- An app where the family books, pays and sees every record and vaccine date.
- Reminders that arrive on time, every time, for every pet.
- Advertising money, discounts on the first visit and offers on food and medicines.
None of this is better medicine. Most families still trust the vet who knows their dog by name. But families notice convenience, and the chain is built around it.
Where independent clinics lose families
Clinics rarely lose a family over one bad visit. They lose them slowly: a missed vaccine reminder, a prescription that was lost, a report that had to be collected in person, a long wait at the desk while a bill was written by hand. Each one is small. Together they make the chain look easier.
The family then goes to the chain for a vaccine, and the chain keeps their records. After that, coming back is harder.
What you can do this year
- Send every vaccine and medicine reminder automatically, so no pet is forgotten.
- Put the records on the family's phone, signed by you, so they never need to ask.
- Cut the time spent writing notes and bills, so you see more pets and the queue moves.
- Know your numbers: which families have not come back, which stock is running low, what each day earned.
A chain has to build this for hundreds of clinics. You can have it in your clinic in a day.
Help us help you compete
FetchWise Clinic is software built for independent Indian vets. It runs appointments, records, prescriptions, vaccines, billing with GST and stock in one place. Sage drafts your consult notes for you to check and sign. Every record you sign goes to the family's FetchWise app, with your clinic's name on it, so the family stays with you.
FetchWise Clinic is free for now while we build it with our first clinics, and the first 20 clinics get 3 months free when paid plans start.
